EPL Watch: Spurs run riot, Chelsea & Arsenal stunned

Chelsea are still without a win under Rafa Benitez, after they allowed West Ham come from behind and defeat them 3-1 at Upton Park. Juan Mata had given the West London side the lead with an expertly taken goal, but the visitors missed a couple of chances to double their lead. Sam Allardyce threw Diame on in the second half and he turned the game on its head. Cole drew the Hammers level, before Diame fired them into the lead. There was still enough time for the home side to find a third goal, through substitute Maiga.

Another London side, Arsenal, lost for the second time at the Emirates this season – a 2-0 defeat to a composed Swansea side, with Michu at the double.

QPR are still unbeaten under Harry Redknapp, after they drew 1-1 against Aston Villa.

Spurs edged the other London derby played today 3-0, thanks to Defoe’s late brace, after Sandro had given them the lead.

Daniel Agger was the match winner for Liverpool at Anfield against Southampton, while Dean Whitehead handed West Brom their second consecutive victory this week.

Carlos Tevez scored from the spot, but Manchester City settled for a 1-1 draw, after Fellaini had given Everton the lead.
