Nigerian fast rising singer Tiwa Banks brutally stabbed

One of Nigeria’s promising artists, Tiwa Banks, AKA Tiwantiwa was brutally assaulted yesterday allegedly by her landlord’s youngest son named Tobi Obadina. It’s being reported that Tobi came into Tiwa’s apartment at night due to a misunderstanding in the day, broke a bottle on her head, then stabbed her, her brother, and a neighbor who met him at the scene. He left her in a pool of blood before she was rushed to the hospital by neighbors.

Tiwa is in the hospital now, while Tobi Obadina is a free man. Allegedly he’s been boasting about what happened saying he can not be arrested because he’s an ex-officer’s son.

Sad! We pray for her recovery. Hopefully the person responsible will be brought to justice.
