Saturday morning explosions: Blast rocks Kano, Airtel’s office targeted

 

we have just received reports of heavy gun battles and bomb explosions in Kano.

Our source said: “There is bomb explosion in Mallam Kato Square, Kano around 8.30 am. The major target was Airtel office which was also affected. I can hear sounds of gun shots and bomb explosion now.”

The blasts are reported to have taken place around Bata Roundabout along the entrance to the Sabon Gari Market in Kano state. Bata is one of the most populated areas along the popular Sabon Gari market.
