Hammered: Rampant Arsenal defeat Allardyce’s men 5-1
A spellbinding 10-minute spell in the second half, saw Arsenal thrash West Ham United 5-1 at the Emirates on Wednesday evening.
The visitors took the lead in the 18th minute through Jack Collison, but Lukas Podolski levelled four minutes later with a thunderous effort.
Olivier Giroud scored shortly after the break to give Arsenal the lead, before Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott and another Giroud effort, completed the rout.
Arsene Wenger’s men have now moved into sixth position in the League.
