Police detains Governor Lamido’s son for allegedly crushing middle-aged man to death

 

Mr. Aminu Sule, the eldest son of Jigawa State Governor, has been arrested by the police in Kano, after he allegedly crushing a middle-aged man to death along BUK road, by Rumfa College in Kano.

According to sources, the accident which happened around 8.55pm on Wednesday, killed the victim instantly, adding that “for the timely intervention of the police on patrol, Aminu would have been killed by the mob.”

Kano Police Public Relations Officer, PPRC, ASP Magaji Musa Majia, confirmed the incident and the involvement of Aminu Sule. He also said the relatives of the victim have been contacted and his body has been taken to a government hospital.

Aminu Sule is currently under prosecution by the EFCC for alleged money laudering and was detained with his SUV sport car at Kwali police station in Kano.
