Robin van Persie deletes Twitter account

 

Manchester United striker, Robin Van Persie, has deleted his Twitter account.

It is kind of surprising, as the 29-year-old, had stopped tweeting ever since he completed his 24m move from Arsenal in the summer. Despite that fact, fans of the London club have not stopped tweeting abuse at him, in the same measure the adoring United fans have been singing his praises.

Van Persie has been in sensational form this season, scoring more than 20 times already, for Sir Alex Ferguson’s team.
