“They were not taking pictures of windmills” – Abati speaks on arrest of Fayemi’s aide in Kastina

 

Presidential spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati, has emphatically denied that PA/SSA to the Ekiti State Government, Egghead Odewale, was taking pictures of windmills in Kastina, as we reported this morning.

Abati, insisted that the sites Odewale and his friend, Ibrahim, were taking shots of, were “locations which have implications for national security & foreign relations.”

In his other updates, Abati, however confirmed that he has spoken with the police authorities and has made sure Odewale is released.

“Eggheader Odewale was arrested along with Jimoh Ibrahim, ID card Logistics and Protocol, Ado Ekiti. Both claim research mission,” he wrote.

“Spoke with Odewale and followed the process thru at all levels. Both men’ll be released shortly. Note that d police also have a duty.”
