Nasarawa State University - NSUK Newly Admitted Students Registration Starts On 7th Of January For 2012/2013: Step By Step Guidelines For Registration
Using this Platform, we the Nigeria Open University Team wishes to inform all students of the Nasarawa State University in Keffi [NSUK], and most especially, all Newly Admitted students, that the Online registration for Courses, Tuition fee payment and accomodation, has just been scheduled to commence on the 7th of January, 2013.
Please See Step By Step Guidelines Below:
Registration Period: 7th Of January 2012 – 13th Of January, 2013.
Candidates should note that Late Registration incurs an additional Fees of N5,000.00k [Five Thousand Naira Only]
Late Registration Starts On: 14th Of January 2012 – 20th Of January, 2013.
Candidates Should please note that the Portal Which is Opened for Registration will be shut down by mid night of January, the 20th, 2013.This is also to inform all returning students that they will only be allowed to check registered course.
So any add and drop of courses must be done within this registration period as stated above.
You should also note that failure to register within this registration period shown below will only lead to Your Admission being forfeit for the Academic Session.
Step By Step Procedures For Registration:
Step 1.
all Student should be aware that on arrival, they should visit the University Official Website @
www.nsuk.edu.ng.
This link could be found under the Prospective Students Tab.
Please click on Downloads.
When it Opens up, Do Select Undergraduates and Enter your UTME/DE Registration Number and press the ENTER BUTTON below the Form.
Also note that you will be required to print out your Admission Letter and the Clearance Form.
Step 2.
You are required to proceed to your department with the following documents listed below.
Also ensure that you come along with your Admission Letter and Clearance Form:
a. UTME/DE Slip.
b. Original Copies of all credentials and Indegene Certificate.
c. Ten (10) recent Passport-sized photographs.
d. Prelim Examination Result.
which is for those admitted through prelim only.
Step 3.
Do Make sure you are properly screened at the Department or Faculty before you go to the Academic Office for Signing.
Step 4.
How To Pay Your Nasarawa State University School Fees:
Please note that after you had being cleared, visit,
www.nsuk.edu.ng
which is located under the Current Students tab, click on Pay School Fees.
Now wait for the page to load.
Please read the instructions which will be displayed carefully and at the end of the page.
Them click on Pay Fees Now.
Then Once Again, you've got to wait for the page to load before You Enter your UTME/DE Registration Number, and click on Get Fee Detail.
Please note that the school fees due for your Student category will be displayed.
Just Download and Print a copy of the Payment Invoice and take it to any branch of any bank showned below:
a) UBA.
b) Diamond Bank.
c) Ecobank PLC.
d) First Bank.
e) Unity Bank.
f) Mainstreet Bank.
g) Keystone Bank.
h) FCMB.
i) Zenith Bank.
Important Notice:
Please note that you will be required to pay additional fees of
A. Portal Access and Internet Charges, which costs #2,000.
B. Transaction Charges, which costs #300.
Note that Upon successful payment at the bank, you will be given a payment slip which contains a confirmation number.
Return to the portal with the Confirmation number and slip and follow the step by step guidelines below.
Step By Step Guidelines On How To Pay The Nasarawa School Fees
You are to Select the e-tranzact Pin Vending option and click on pay fees.
Please note that when you click on PAY SCHOOL FEES, you will be taken to a page, where you'll be required to enter the confirmation number and click on verify.
After your payment has been verified, you will be required to print your school fees receipt and also a PIN will be automatically generated for you Specifically.
With the PIN, you will be required to use it in Step 5.Step 5.
Profile Update and Course Form Registration.
You're required to visit www.nsuk.edu.ng.
Where you're to select Portal Login under Current Students.
Note this carefully.
Please use the combination of your UTME/DE Registration Number and the PIN obtained after your payment has been successfully verified and the school fees receipt printed.
Note that You are to Login and update your profile, also register all your required courses as the case may be.
Then Print out every other required form including your Student Information Form.
MUST READ:
Please ensure that you are properly screened before paying fees as there will be no refund after payment, which has already been made.
Do note that you are to make sure that your PIN is kept secret and Available.
Because the PIN will be required for your session long access to the Portal.

While all complains will be dealt with within an hour and email replied.
Also Note that all categories of students are expected to proceed to the IT Centre to obtain Log in details, with which they will access the Internet after 21st of January, 2013.
