The former Media Officer of the Super Eagles, Colin Udoh, has revealed that some members of the Super Eagles, have taken to putting in an extra shift, to be in top shape for the Africa Cup of Nations.

According to him, “On Friday, the quartet of Nosa Igiebor, Elderson Echiejile, Obiorah Nwankwo and Kenneth Omeruo all stayed behind to practise on their own after the regular team session.

“The players practised set pieces, crosses and shooting.”

Real Betis midfielder, Igiebor, explained their reasons. “We just want to get better for the Nations Cup, nothing special,” he said.

The session lasted for over 20 minutes and they were joined by assistant coach, Sylvanus Okpala, who commended their efforts.
